Day 1: Ha Noi - Thac Ba Lake - 170km (L,D Homestay)

Start the motorbike tour at 7AM from Hanoi, we ride up the North of Vietnam by taking a small road along the Red river. Skyscapers, noise and traffic jam will be replaced by the great scenery of river, rice paddies, extensive farming lands as we ride through country. Arrive in Thac Ba Lake after 5 hours of riding. Regarded as “Halong Bay in the high mountains”, one of the attractions of the lake is 1331 islands and islets, forming caves and charming scenery of the mountain. Several villages of ethnic groups as: Nung, Mong, Dzao, Phu La, ... are placed on the Thac Ba lake side. We offer you a night in home stay with the Dzao people in a traditional stilt house. The comfort is simple but clean.

Day 2: Thac Ba Lake - Xin Man  - 180km (B,L,D Hotel)

After breakfast at home stay, ride from Thac Ba Lake to Xin Man - a mountainous district in the West of Ha Giang... This road will be longer - about 250 km but entirely worthy. With the area of about 600 km2, Xin Man is the home of many ethnic minority group live on agriculture, so it famous for a lot of terrace fields from some commune such as Nam Dan, Nan Ma, Then Phang. The best time to visit Xin Man is in the harvest season- around between September and October. At that time, Xin Man creates an irresistible attraction for many visitors.

Day 3: Xin Man - Ha Giang City - 140 km (B,L,D Homestay)

Goodbye Xin Man, continue the tour to Ha Giang City. The distance is shorter but the road is still under construction so it takes about 5 hours to ride. However, the landscape with beautiful mountains could impress you immediately. The other side of the mountains is the eage of an abyss, that makes this road quite dangerous but absolutely please adventurous riders. Specially, it is easy to see the movement though mountain peaks of the Sun draws a lot of charming sunshine . Home stay in Ha Giang. 

Day 4: Ha Giang - Meo Vac - 180km (B,L,D Hotel)

180-km driving from Ha Giang City to Meo Vac (via Dong Van) is perhaps the most remarkable stretch of road in the country. Dong Van Town is located in the heart of Dong Van Rock Plateau, which was recognized as part of the Global Geo-Park Network. When reaching to the town, you will have some extra time to wander the ancient streets lined with H’mong clay bricks built centuries ago. The final stretch from Dong Van to MeoVac is just 22km along the Ma Pi Leng Pass – a staggering road clinging to the edge of a wall of limestone mountains, towering hundreds of meter above Nho Que River valley. This short road can take a couple of hours because the view is so incredible.

Dropping down to Meo Vac, We suggest you to stay at Da Hoa Cuong hotel with good facilities at reasonable price.

Day 5: Mèo Vạc – BaBe Lake - 200km (B,L,D Homestay)

The final destination of the tour is Ba Be Lake – far 180km from Meo Vac with 6 hours of riding. Located in Bac Kan Province, Ba Be Lake is the largest natural lake in Vietnam and is a part of the Ba Be National Park. The whole area is full of limestone country, lakes, waterfalls, caves and unusual rocks. After several days overwhelmed by the magnificent scenery of mountains, the tranquil surface of the lake would make you feel calm and relaxed. Home stay in a peaceful village of the Tay people nearby Ba Be Lake, take a chance for you to consider the differences in tradition between ethnic minorities.

Day 6: Ba Be lake – Hanoi – 240km (B,L Tour Ends)

After 6 days with a lot of memories, we will back to Hanoi on the main road and finished the Amazing Ha Giang Motorcycle Tour at around 5:00 PM.
